- Inbound calls and messages: When a customer calls a contractor's Roofers Friend business number, we collect the caller's phone number and any SMS messages exchanged in order to facilitate communication between the contractor and their customer.
- Contractor account information: Name, business name, email address, and phone number provided during signup.
- Usage data: Log data, app activity, and feature usage for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information solely to provide and operate the Roofers Friend service, including:
- Routing and logging inbound calls and SMS messages
- Sending automated SMS messages on behalf of contractors to their customers
- Delivering push notifications to contractors
- Processing subscription payments
4. SMS Messaging
Roofers Friend sends SMS messages on behalf of contractors to their customers. These messages include missed call notifications, job status updates, invoice reminders, and satisfaction rating requests. Message frequency varies based on job activity.

5. No Sharing of Mobile Numbers
We do not sell, rent, lease, or share customer mobile phone numbers with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers collected through the Roofers Friend platform are used exclusively to facilitate communication between contractors and their customers.
6. Data Retention
We retain customer contact information and message history for as long as the contractor's account is active. Contractors may request deletion of their data and associated customer records at any time by contacting us.
7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Twilio — SMS and voice communication
- Firebase (Google) — Database, authentication, and cloud functions
- Stripe — Payment processing
Each of these providers maintains their own privacy policies and data handling practices.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
